Cosmickatz

Cosmickatz is a small boutique style Sphynx cattery set on an acreage in the  rolling hills of Macarthur in NSW.  We imported our original breeding cats -Aurora, Luna and Apollo from a highly respected Sphynx breeder in the UK .

We are a registered breeder with NSW Cat Fanciers Association (NSWCFA), and breed only Sphynx which enables us to put all of our time and effort into this wonderfully unique breed.  We have put a lot of love and time into our cattery and cherish each and every cat as a  family member.

Our primary focus is on Heath and temperament, we consider both extremely important.

We are a FeLV/FIL free cattery.
 
Cosmickatz are very proud that all of our Stud’s and a Queen are double negative for the HCM DNA gene.

 We are super excited to announce our first mating of a double negative Stud & Queen. Both are double negative for the HCM gene which means all kittens born from that mating are guaranteed to be double negative for the HCM gene. Our aim is to have all of our cats Double negative for the HCM gene.  We are well on our way.

About Sphynx

The sphynx is an amazing breed of cat, they are social, active and so full of fun and love, I literally can sit and watch their funny antics for hours.  Sphynx love company and are often described as a cross between a cat, dog and monkey in personality.

The sphynx is an inside only cat as they burn in summer and get cold in the cooler months. They do enjoy time outside either on a harness or in an enclosed area where they can go freely inside as they need to.

Because of the lack of hair the Sphynx needs to be washed weekly, ears cleaned and nails trimmed. They need a warm bed, toys to keep them occupied and company.
